Green Body and Mind Declares Santa Cruz a Psychiatric Drug-Free Zone
“Responding to the atrocities that psychiatric drugs inflict on individuals and society as a whole, residents of Santa Cruz, Ca are now applying their environmentally green and humanitarian centered health conscious values to their mental health care system. Green Body and Mind, a non-profit organization, has drafted the first petition of its kind declaring Santa Cruz a psychotropic, psychiatric drug free zone to be signed and implemented by the mayor.”
Gwen Olsen, a 15-year-veteran-pharmaceutical rep-turned-whistleblower and inspirational speaker, and Genita Petralli, H.H.P., N.C., M.H., Nutritional Biochemist and Orthomolecular Practitioner specializing in psychotropic drug detox and addictions are gaining local and national support in mobilizing mental health reform to protect Santa Cruz from the devastating impact the use of psychiatric drugs inflict on our society such as:
• Contributing to pharmaceutical related deaths, making iatrogenic illness the number one cause of death in the U.S.
• Addictive, aggressive and violent behavior as demonstrated in school shootings, suicides, infanticides, and other murders;
• Decreased productivity,
• Long-term brain and physiological damage to children and adults
• Increased emergency room visits and hospitalizations
• Rapidly climbing Medicaid/Medicare expenditures
• Drug-associated degenerative disease rates rising to an all time high
• Increased incarceration rates and homelessness
To deconstruct current profit driven mental health care practices, Green Body and Mind has appointed a Holistic Health Care Reform Committee to draft a new mental health care model titled "First, Do No Harm" which identifies, proposes and implements safe, non-toxic, evidence-based holistic therapies for everyone.” ---by: Gwen Olsen
It’s ironic that the United States Medical “healthcare” system is the #1 cause of death, while every medical student in the county swears on the Hippocratic Oath to "First, Do No Harm". What is it going to take to stop the madness. Pharmaceutical companies are running roughshod over Washington, D.C., our politicians, and medical doctors. The pharmaceutical companies literally own the U.S. Big Pharma is the single, most powerful organization in the U.S. and the world. Almost every politician in our country is paid off via bribes to turn their heads the other way while dangerous and deadly medications are voted on and approved by the F.D.A.

For those of you who read my newsletter last week, you certainly were impacted by the story of Winifred Gardella. In case you missed it, here it is again along with a comment from a current Yachter Family Chiropractic patient.
In the early 1950s, Winifred Gardella was a poster child for the March of Dimes. Her picture was published in the newspapers to raise huge sums of money for the March of Dimes in San Francisco. Nationally, her image raised millions of dollars to help fight the dreaded crippler, polio. Her sad, innocent face and her tiny body supported on crutches and leg braces, made many Americans reach into their pockets to donate.
But the March of Dimes couldn’t help Winifred. After 2 ½ years under their doctor’s expert care, her parents were told: “There’s no hope.” Despite this dire prediction, her grandparents were determined to find a cure. They were not about to accept the opinion of so-called “medical experts.” They decided to choose their own health care and they took Winifred to Dr. Lewis Robertson, a chiropractor in Glendale, California. In less than six months of having her nerve interference corrected, Winifred Gardella threw away her crutches and braces and went for a walk with her chiropractor. She has been walking ever since! The irony of this story is that not one dollar of the millions she raised for the March of Dimes went to pay for the chiropractic care which allowed her to walk again.
Dr. Yachter:
I just read your e-mail letter about the girl with polio in the 1960's and how she got well with chiropractic care.
In the small town (Fort Meade) in Polk County, FL, where I grew up, a classmate of mine had the same experience. Pat Ross's dad was a chiropractor and spent about a year working with his daughter and cured her of polio, and there were no visible effects of the disease. This was in the late 1950s. We in town did not realize at the time the extreme importance of this discovery. Thought I would pass this on.
