Mammograms cause breast cancer?

Exposing the Truth on Cancer and Radiation Exposure

Repeated exposure of the breast to radiation increases a woman’s risk of breast cancer by 1 percent to 3 percent per year. Remember, the damaging effects of radiation are mainly on the DNA of breast cells and the effect is cumulative. This means that with each mammogram you add 1 percent to 3 percent risk of the test itself causing breast cancer. Over 20 years, that amounts to a substantial increase of 20 percent to 30 percent. Actually, these figures are deceptively low because some women are already at increased risk. For example, women with a strong family history of breast cancer (or cancer in general) are at a higher risk from radiation exposure. Studies have shown that these women have defective DNA repair enzymes and can’t repair all of the damage after being exposed to radiation. Over years or decades, enough damage accumulates to initiate a cancer. Likewise, women with chronic diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, colitis, and other autoimmune disorders are at substantially higher risk of cancer with yearly mammograms. It is ironic that the women who are in the greatest danger from yearly mammograms are the very ones being told to have them. Some, with very strong family histories of breast cancer are even told to have mammograms every six months. This, in my opinion, is insane. (Dr. Russell Blaylock, author and neurosurgeon)

A woman often follows her doctor’s advice and goes for her mammogram every year. Then 10 or 20 years later a cancer shows up and the doctor tells the patient, “Boy, it sure was a good thing you had that mammogram! We caught the cancer early!” He never considers that the mammogram itself may have caused the cancer. Even worse is the advice encouraging women who have had breast cancer to have a mammogram every six months to see if it is recurring. Numerous studies have shown that radiation exposure can make a cancer more aggressive, and we know that cancer cells can often be found decades after a breast cancer is removed. One study found that 50% of women thought to be free of cancer still had live cancer cells in their blood stream 10 years after their surgery, even though they had chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

IS THIS THE SYSTEM OF “HEALTHCARE” THAT YOU HAVE PUT YOUR FAITH IN?

When will we ever learn?

There are alternatives to mammograms, including careful self-exam, thermograms, and nerve system/ subluxation evaluations. Since the nerve system controls the immune system which determines whether or not you will get cancer, the smartest thing you can do to try to prevent cancer is to make sure you have your nerve system evaluated.

***People that had been under Chiropractic care for at least 5 years were found to have immune systems that were 200% stronger than people who had not been under chiropractic and 400% stronger than cancer patients. Ronald Pero, PhD., New York University Medical Research Department

***David Foelten, M.D., PhD., professor of neurobiology and anatomy at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, discovered “nerve fibers go into virtually every organ of the immune system” We found that if you took the nerves away from the spleen or lymph nodes, you virtually stopped immune response in their tracks.”

Who do you know that must have their nerve system checked immediately?

Monday, June 16th is our Father’s Day Patient Appreciation Day. Send all of your loved ones in to have their nerve systems evaluated at our expense. Also, sign up for our Maximized Brain 3 week workshop series which started Saturday, June 14th, 11:30am, @ YFCC. If you missed week #1, you definitely missed out. The feedback was awesome. Sign up for the next 2 weeks at the front desk… Don’t be left behind!
