TIC V. TOR

A heart-felt thank you goes out to every patient of Yachter Family Chiropractic Center. I appreciate you allowing me to travel. My time away was meaningful.
The purpose of my trip was 3 fold. Firstly, I was invited to the New Zealand School of Chiropractic Lyceum (homecoming weekend) to speak and share regarding practice/clinical excellence. Secondly, I was exposed to instructors who are considered some of the greatest minds in chiropractic. I was not only a teacher but a student as well. Dr. Reggie Gold, Dr. Gerry Clum, Dr. Bruce Lipton, and Dr. Brian Kelley are a few who spoke and are considered among the greatest names in our profession. They know more about healing, saving lives, and running high quality, patient focused practices than anybody in the world. Thirdly, my reason for traveling throughout New Zealand & Australia with my wife was for a much needed refreshing and rejuvenating. Because of it, you now have a well-rested, clear-minded, more focused and passionate chiropractor on your hands. I have not had a few weeks “off” in over 16 years. After regularly working 16-18 hour days, I believe it was well earned.
Why am I sharing this with you? You should know that there is always a major reason for me being away from the office. It is ultimately to become a more effective and confident clinician. It is to continue to grow, learn, expand, and become the best healer possible. Sharing my knowledge and skills with other chiropractors is critical for a few reasons: it allows me to help them become better doctors, for these doctors to serve their communities with the best available resources, and as the teachers/speaker/example, it forces and holds me accountable to walk my talk and really strive to be consistent and congruent regarding what I’m teaching versus what is happening within my practice.
With all of that being said, time out the office for Dr. Dan, the chiropracTOR will only serve to deliver the highest quality care to you, the patient. Rest assured, while I’m away, Dr. Leif, or any adjusting doctor at that time, will continue to deliver the same level of care and will continue to perform an excellent service. They are just as well-trained and are exceptionally talented. Techniques, styles, & touches vary, but competence is always of the utmost. Any doctor that I leave to care for you & your family is fully equipped and expertly trained to remove subluxation and to optimize neurological function.
While many patients were happy to hear of my journey, several were not. Most patients complain to me that I work too hard and never take time off. So, they were pleased with my long absence. Many patients were counting the days for my return due to their attachment with my ‘way’ of adjusting, technique, and approach. If you were one of these patients, please remember, as I travel in the future to bring you the highest quality care, it is never about the chiropracTOR, it’s about the chiropracTIC. Whether I’m in the office or not, your subluxations need to be removed. Your baby’s subluxations still need to be adjusted. Your chiropractic care needs to continue no matter what. You body requires a healthy functioning nerve system every day of the year!
Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in our office to serve your family. Thank you for making chiropracTIC an absolutely vital part of getting healthy and staying healthy for life.
